This collectors edition stamp collection was designed to represent Japan's National Holiday, Foundation Day, a patriotic holiday that celebrates the foundation of the country, and its first emperor Jimmu. Because the day celebrates the country of Japan and national pride, each stamp depicts iconic Japanese landmarks, cultural heritage pieces, and celebrated natural elements executed in Adobe Illustrator mimicking traditional media such as watercolour, ink, and block printing.
